Absolutely not. The recording and saving process happens 100% locally in your browser (client-side). We do not upload any of your data to our servers, ensuring absolute privacy.
What is the difference between WebM and MP4?
WebM is the browser's native recording format, exporting video instantly without waiting. MP4 is a more widely supported format, but the tool requires running a conversion (which takes some time depending on video length) before you can download it.
Can I record system audio (game sound/music)?
Yes. When the screen sharing selection window pops up, make sure to check the Share system audio box at the bottom.
