What is the Pomodoro technique?
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo. It uses a timer to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks (5 minutes).
How to use the Pomodoro timer effectively?
1. Pick a task. 2. Start a 25-minute Focus timer. 3. Work until the timer rings. 4. Take a 5-minute Short Break. 5. After 4 Focus sessions, take a Long Break of 15-30 minutes.
How does the Focus Tasks list work?
Add your tasks and estimate how many pomodoros (25-minute sessions) they will take. Click on a task to make it 'Active' (highlighted). When the main timer finishes a Focus session, your active task will automatically gain 1 completed pomodoro.
